This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" diameter bronze impeller. The pump uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. It operates on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a 254JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
