This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. A mechanical seal with ceramic and EPT components maintains system integrity, operating at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI.
The assembly is powered by a 1.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, which utilizes Aegis grounding and functions on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.52. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
