This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with a standard across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with a counter-clockwise rotation, and the DOE PEI value is 0.94.
