This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections as well as a flush seal line tap.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 254T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with across the line starting capability. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
