This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F and is designed for clean water applications. It incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor utilizes a 145 T-frame and supports across the line starting with a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a standard Woods flexible coupler to connect to the greasable bearing frame. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.81 and is configured for 40 °C ambient operating conditions.
