This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The bearing frame uses greasable bearings to support the rotating assembly.
This unit is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 364T frame, operating at 1150 RPM on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. It maintains premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It is configured for across-the-line starting with an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C.
