This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft configuration to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for 125 PSI service and incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring. The volute casing includes integrally cast mounting feet to ensure stability during operation.
The 15 HP premium efficiency ODP motor operates at 1750 RPM and includes Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V three phase supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
