This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze wear ring and a bronze shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles clean water up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230-460/60/3PH Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 256 JM frame with feet and meets premium efficiency MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit utilizes an across the line starting option and has a PEI value of 0.91. This pump supports a 40°C ambient temperature. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layout.
