This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge provides self-venting capabilities.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 254 JM frame with feet and uses 230-460/60/3 PH power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The starting configuration is across the line, and the pump maintains a PEI value of 0.89.
