This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve, which incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor with a NEMA 324 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards according to NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
