This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 1-1/2" discharge port. It includes a 2-1/2" suction connection and a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter. The unit uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluids at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 143 JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. It meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design for servicing and a top center line discharge. The unit has a PEI value of 0.88 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment using an across the line starting configuration.
