This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies installation.
The unit is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor in a 324 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM with a 230-460/60/3 power supply and across-the-line starting. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standards. Additional specifications include AEGIS shaft grounding, premium efficiency in compliance with MG1-12.55, and a DOE PEI of 0.92. The rotation is CCW as viewed from the drive end.
