This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze impeller. It has a 3" suction, 2-1/2" discharge, and an 11" nominal impeller diameter. The unit utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal contains a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water applications up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to allow servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure with a 213 JM frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. The motor adheres to NEMA standards, features AEGIS shaft grounding, and provides premium efficiency meeting MG1-12.55. It is rated for 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
