This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit incorporates flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design, while the top center-line discharge configuration facilitates piping alignment and self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor motor in a 286 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM and requires 230-460/60/3 PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient conditions, operates with CCW rotation, and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
