This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design isolates the shaft from system fluids, while the slip-on shaft sleeve facilitates seal maintenance. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Integrated features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows servicing without disturbing system piping.
This pump is configured with a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM. It utilizes a 324 JM motor frame style with feet and requires 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates in a 50°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.92.
