This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is configured with an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The pump uses a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor, housed in a NEMA 213 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It requires a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a standard coupler guard and greasable bearings. It includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring for electrical protection and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
