This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 4" suction, and a 3" discharge. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller constructed from bronze. The design includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 256 JM frame with feet and operates on 230-460/60/3PH power. The pump complies with NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91. The pump casing features a top center line discharge design to simplify piping layouts and facilitate self-venting.
