This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and features a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps and gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 182T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for the motor connection. The system is configured for across the line starting and maintains a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
