This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft during operation. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and supports a flush seal line for maintenance.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and features across the line starting. The motor is a NEMA 256 T-frame style, rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
