This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and supports flush seal line taps.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.92 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
