This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which incorporates a dry shaft design rated for 125 PSI. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components limits fluid exposure to the internal rotating parts. The casing includes center-line discharge for air venting and provides gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit utilizes a 125 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, which integrates Aegis grounding and operates on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
