This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. This unit is built without a wear ring and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and resides within a 182T NEMA frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base equipped with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. Across-the-line starting is utilized for this configuration. The unit meets a DOE PEI of 0.85.
