This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and system fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump is designed with flush seal line taps to allow for filter installation and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor utilizes a 324 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets NEMA standards, including MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The pump has a PEI value of 0.94.
