This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature rating of 250°F.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP, 230/460V, 3PH motor. The motor is a Baldor Super E model in a NEMA 254 frame with a TEFC enclosure and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This pump meets EISA efficiency requirements, carries a PEI value of 0.90, and maintains an HI energy rating of 10. It is configured for across the line starting and 40°C ambient operation.
