This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. It is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 286 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply using across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
