This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a NEMA 182 T-frame and operates on 230-460/60/3PH power. It features premium efficiency ratings that meet NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration provides a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and maintains performance at a 40°C ambient temperature.
