This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and incorporates a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. This unit is rated for clean water applications up to 250 °F and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP, 230-460/60/3 Baldor premium efficiency motor. The motor is an ODP, NEMA 286T frame style that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Power is transmitted through a Woods coupler, which is protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
