This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The design incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration. A mechanical seal using a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber supports fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly is supported by sealed-for-life bearings within the bearing frame.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 213T frame. The electrical configuration supports a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards with AEGIS shaft grounding and has a PEI value of 0.89.
