This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports, equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and suction and discharge pressure tappings. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps for the installation of a filter.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It is configured in NEMA frame 254JM with feet for mounting. The motor uses across the line starting and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The assembly features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.91. The rotation is CCW, and the unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
