This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor, which meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 213 frame and the power frame size is H. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a guard.
