This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal features a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. This pump is configured for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 284 T-frame. It operates at 1150 RPM with a power supply of 230-460/60/3PH. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is configured with an across-the-line starting option and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
