This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges and utilizes a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the system fluid and the shaft. Additionally, the unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections to accommodate system monitoring and filtration equipment.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured for 230/460V/60Hz/3PH operation at 3450 RPM. It uses a 213 JM motor frame with feet and supports across-the-line starting. This unit meets NEMA standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor operates at premium efficiency, maintains a 40°C ambient rating, and produces a PEI value of 0.83.
