This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from system fluid contact. The pump is equipped with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor. This motor is configured in a 254 JM frame style with feet and features a TEFC enclosure. It is rated for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting method is across the line, and the unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This pump assembly has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
