This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 10" suction and an 8" discharge. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It connects to the system via ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 365 T-frame configuration. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses an across-the-line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard with a Woods coupler. The system features greasable bearings, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and maintains a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
