This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame contains permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor is a T frame style, NEMA frame 184, which meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. This equipment has a PEI value of 0.94 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
