This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The design includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping. The pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filter.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure and a drip cover. The motor uses a 213 JM frame with feet and is configured for across the line starting. The power requirement is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The operational ambient temperature rating is 40°C, and the unit is configured for counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
