This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and uses a JM-style motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C. The equipment maintains a DOE PEI of 0.9.
