This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, which utilizes a stainless steel construction with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. For fluid containment, the pump utilizes a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal. This assembly operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring.
Driven by a 30 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly utilizes Aegis grounding and accepts a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
