This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting.
The pump is configured with a 2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 184 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM with a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and across the line starting. The motor complies with NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature operation.
