This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center-line discharge simplifies venting and piping layouts.
The unit is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It is configured with a 182 JM motor frame with feet and utilizes a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI of 0.89.
