This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly is supported by a bearing frame equipped with greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254T frame. Power requirements are 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.91. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding system and is configured for across-the-line starting. It is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the motor to the pump.
