This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250 °F. This unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI of 0.9. The top center line discharge design facilitates self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
