This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction port and a 5" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. The motor features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency levels that meet MG1-12.55 standards. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor operates in a 40°C ambient environment and uses a counter-clockwise rotation. This pump maintains a PEI of 0.96.
