This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal contains a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The rear pullout design enables servicing without disturbing piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure with a 256 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40 °C ambient temperatures and operates at NEMA standards. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
