This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The impeller has a 9-1/2" nominal diameter and includes a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is a NEMA 213T frame style, configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It is rated for 40°C ambient operation. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
