This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal includes a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a 250°F temperature rating for clean water applications. This configuration incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, while the rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a JM style frame with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The electrical assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The starting option is across the line, and the system is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
