This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a Tungsten Carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water applications up to 300°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings for monitoring suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 324 frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupling. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with AEGIS shaft grounding and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.93.
