This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed in a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with system fluid. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design enables servicing without disturbing piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies installation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame with feet. The unit is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and across the line starting. It features AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA standards, and complies with MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The system maintains a PEI of 0.92, supports 40 °C ambient temperatures, and handles fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
