This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal assembly is rated for operation in temperatures up to 250°F. The hydraulic design excludes a wear ring and utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 326T frame, operating at 1150 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard.
