This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings for system monitoring.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor features a NEMA 213 frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a PEI value of 0.91. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. This configuration supports 40°C ambient temperature conditions.
